Objectives

 

General supervision of inspection activities and control over support activities and consumer protection, and ensuring the implementation of approved laws, decisions, regulations and systems.

 

Specialties


 

  • General follow-up of the application of laws, ministerial decisions, regulations and systems adopted regarding commercial control.

 

  • General supervision of the support activities and ensuring the implementation of the implementation procedures for these activities in accordance with the general policies of the state and the laws and regulations of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

 

  • Coordination between the organizational units of the sector, providing information and data related to the supply activities, reviewing the indicators resulting from these statistics, and taking the necessary actions in this regard.

 

  • Reviewing the periodic and annual statistics received from the departments of the sector, analyzing the indicators derived from them, and taking the necessary action in this regard.

 

  • Coordination between the departments of the sector to ensure the integrity of their work.

 

  • Supervising the preparation of the sector budget, ensuring its consistency with actual needs, and determining priorities according to the importance and available capabilities.

 

  • General supervision over the various sector activities to ensure consumer protection from commercial fraud.

 

  • Coordination between the organizational units of the sector, providing information and data related to consumer protection activities, reviewing the indicators resulting from these statistics, and taking the necessary action in this regard.
